We recommend ordering all panels for a project at once, as variations in production processes may occur due to production reasons.

Woody or light?
Our Holzig series is made from real wood veneer , a thin sheet of real wood cut from a tree trunk. This means each panel is unique, as the natural grain and color of the wood are never exactly the same. With real wood veneer, you bring a true piece of nature into your home. The advantage? Each panel has its own unique character and exudes the warm, unmistakable look of real wood.
Our Lightweight Acoustic Panels, on the other hand, are made from engineered veneer , which is composed of various wood species and then dyed or processed to achieve a uniform grain and color. This creates a uniform appearance that's perfect for modern and minimalist designs. The advantage here: You get consistent quality and appearance, with no surprises in color or grain.

Frequently asked questions about assembly
Do I need a substructure?
A substructure is not absolutely necessary.
To achieve an even better acoustic effect, we recommend mounting the panels on a substructure including insulation material.
How many screws do I need per acoustic panel?
It depends on where the panels are mounted.
For wall mounting, we recommend 15 screws per panel (20 for mounting on a plaster wall).
For ceiling mounting, 20-25 screws should be used per panel.
Can I cut the panels and how should I go about this?
Yes, the panels can easily be sawn to the desired size.
The easiest way to do this is with a circular saw, but it is also possible with a jigsaw, hacksaw or Japanese saw.
Important NOTE:
For a table saw, felt facing down and slats facing up; for a Japanese saw, foxtail saw or jigsaw, always place the felt facing up.
We always recommend checking with a professional to see if the saw you plan to use is suitable for cutting the slats with the finish you have ordered.
Can I install acoustic panels myself?
Sure! Installation is child's play and no problem even for amateurs.
Can I cut off the felt at the end?
Yes, it is very easy to do and works great with a utility knife, for example.
Can I install acoustic panels in bathrooms and wet rooms?
We cannot recommend use in damp rooms, but you are the best person to judge whether installation without direct contact with water is possible.
You may also have good ventilation in your bathroom. However, in this case, we recommend applying a water-repellent coating to the slats.

Leider waren die Akustikpaneele bei der Lieferung beschädigt (Verpackung aufgerissen), daher wurde die Annahme verweigert. Es wurde aber dann ohne Probleme eine Ersatzlieferung losgeschickt. Von daher super Service und das Produkt sieht auch super aus!
